Bobbie J. Bellamy

Bobbie Jean Starks (Bellamy), 64, of New Albany, IN passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born August 6,1961 to the late Marion Starks and Betty J Booker-Starks. Bobbie dedicated more than a decade of her life serving others at Kingfish, where her infectious smile and warm personality made everyone feel welcome. She had a special gift for connecting with people, turning customers and coworkers into lifelong friends through her kindness and genuine spirit. Above all, Bobbie cherished her family and friends and loved spending time with those closest to her. In her free time, she enjoyed trips to the casinos, playing bingo, and sharing special moments with her beloved “Jimmy-Boy.” To know Bobbie was truly to love her. She was the person everyone could count on — always ready to lend a helping hand, share advice, or simply be there when needed.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two of her children, Stephen L. Starks and Teri “Fufa” Bellamy; (2)brothers, Kevin and Larry Starks; late ex-husband Robert Bellamy; uncle, Ronald “Ronnie” Mosley and nephew, Corbin Starks.

She is survived by her children, Marion D Bellamy Sr.(Kayla), Robert L Bellamy(Rebecca), Randall T Bellamy; sister, Terry L Starks; brother in law, William “Junie” Bellamy; nephews, Randall(Sara), Kevin, Chris, Travis Starks and Larry Shirley; niece, Tiffani Starks;  uncle, Robert Mosley and aunts, Kim Smith and Tina Mosley; (5)Grandchildren, Isabelle, Marion, DeMarion, Brynlee and Mason; (3)Great Grandchildren; and a host of great nephews, nieces and family members.
