Bobbie Joe Weightman

Bobbie Joe Weightman, 82, passed away peacefully in his home on March 25th. He was born on July 18, 1943, and lived a life rooted in family, simple joys, and lasting memories.

Throughout his life, Bobbie found happiness in the outdoors and the freedom it brought him. He loved fishing, boating, camping, and riding his Harley, embracing every opportunity to enjoy the open air. Above all, Bobbie cherished the time he spent with his family, who were the center of his world.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pattie Weightman; his twin sister, Betty Tanner; his daughters, Brittany Gore (Hal Gore, son in law) and Anne Morgan (Brian Morgan, son in law); and his beloved grandchildren, BreAnn Morgan, Elizabeth Groves (Lee Groves, grandson in law), Ryan Johnson, Justin Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Hannah Johnson, and Rylee Gore. He was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Jordan Morgan.

Bobbie was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Weightman and Mary Weightman; his siblings, Fairy Weightman, Dava Weightman, George Weightman, Guy Weightman, Nancy Weightman, Ronnie Weightman and Artie Weightman.

Bobbie will be remembered for his love of life, his strong family bonds, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family forever.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 17th. Location and time will be posted on Pattie’s Facebook once finalized.
