Bonita Baylor

Bonita Baylor, 75, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026.

Bonita was a devoted wife, mother, and friend who found her greatest joy in caring for her family. Although she held several jobs throughout her life, the role she cherished most was being a stay-at-home mom, lovingly raising her daughters and sons. Her home was filled with warmth, guidance, and unconditional love.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dan D. Baylor; her daughters, Kym Baylor and Dana Baylor; and her son, Jack D. Baylor. Bonita also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her kindness and gentle spirit.

She was preceded in death by her father, John W. Karnes; her mother, Rita Karnes; and her son, David Wayne Baylor.

Bonita was also a proud member of Job’s Daughters International, an organization that reflected her dedication to guiding and supporting young people.

She will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
