Bradley "Brad" Daniel Thomas

August 5, 1982 - October 25, 2023

Bradley "Brad" Daniel Thomas passed away on October 25, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Brad is survived by his parents, Dan and Melva Thomas of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Christi (Joe) Morel of Bowling Green, KY; sons, Jack and Harrison Thomas of New Albany, IN; niece, Jilian Morel; nephew, Spencer Morel; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Betty Thomas; and his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Josephine Martin.

Brad had a love for sports as he was an avid Cubs and Colts fan, and he channeled this passion into coaching his son's baseball teams. His commitment to his children's growth and development was a testament to the loving father he was. He cheered from the sidelines, not only as a coach but also as their biggest fan, always encouraging and supporting them in all their endeavors.

One of Brad's favorite pastimes was betting on horses and watching the Kentucky Derby. He had a special knack for picking winners and sharing his excitement with those around him. His love for the Derby was a testament to his sense of adventure and his ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life.

But perhaps one of the most cherished aspects of Brad's personality was his sense of humor. He had a joke for every occasion, and his "Dad" jokes were legendary. He could lighten any mood with a well-timed quip, and his laughter was a constant reminder of the joy he brought to the world.

Brad's devotion wasn't limited to his immediate family; he was also a beloved friend to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He made time for everyone, offering a helping hand or a listening ear without hesitation. His commitment to his friends was as strong as his commitment to his family.

To his nephews and nieces, Brad was the funny uncle and the #1 Cheer Uncle, always ready to add a touch of humor to any family gathering and providing endless support for their endeavors.

As a loving son, Brad took immense pride in being part of the Thomas family. He carried the values and traditions of his family with honor and integrity, serving as a model for the next generation.

In our hearts, Brad's legacy lives on. His kindness, humor, and dedication have left an indelible mark on all of us. Though we mourn his loss, let us also remember the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the countless precious moments that we were fortunate enough to experience with him. Brad Thomas will be greatly missed, but the lessons he taught us and the memories we shared will be cherished forever.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Brad on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at Southeast Christian Church, Indiana Campus, 1309 Charlestown New Albany Road, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. There will be visitation from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with services to follow.

In honor of Brad being a Chicago Cubs Fan, Indianapolis Colts fan and a University of Kentucky fan we are asking people to wear something of his favorite teams if they would like to.
