Carlie D. Blessett

Carlie “David” Blessett, 73, of Otisco, Indiana, passed away on June 13, 2025.
David was a skilled mechanic with a lifelong love for hot rods, horses, and camping. He proudly volunteered with several departments as part of the DNR Mounted Patrol, dedicating his time and heart to serving his community.
He was the kind of person who could light up a room with laughter and was always ready to turn any moment into a good time. His fun-loving spirit and generous heart touched everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ruby, dad Carlie, and brother Ollis.
David is survived by his son Nicolas (Kristal) and daughter Brittney (Tommy); grandchildren Oliver, Asher, Marjorie, Brock, and Waylon; siblings Lee, Anna, and Betty; and many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who loved him dearly.

I grew up with David he always had fast cars and was one of the best mechanics around, we all my dad and his used to hunt together for years, He was very knowledgeably about cars and horses , He was a true pioneer when it came to hot rods , So sorry to hear this
