I knew Carol (and Russ) for many years. They were a Love Story! She was always sweet, kind, and dependable.. She even provided “treats” to her faithful garbage crew! If a “repair” was needed, she greeted the workers with a funny “flirt” and a smile. Her humor was always witty! Last year, she accepted a “scooter ride” with a local guy that she had greeted from her porch, on a daily basis. …She enjoyed the thrill of the ride! But as he returned her back home, he kissed her on the cheek. She promptly SMACKED him….and that was the end of that! She and I both laughed as she “stood firm” that she “didn’t want some guy kissing her on the cheek!”
We shared many laughs.
I loved her, (and told her so!)
I will MISS her!
