Carol L. Eswine

Carol L. Eswine, 76, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 31, 2025, after an extended battle with cancer. She was born on July 31, 1949, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Wanda Steward and Russell Eswine.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Christy Miley and Kim Wolf; her grandchildren, Brittney Colvin (Michael), Jonathan Reburn (Katie), Joseph Reburn (Sarah), Joshua Reburn (Beth), Brandi Miley (Barry), and Bronté Wilson (Lucas); and her great-grandchildren, Abigail, Arianna, Amelia, Aaron, Alexander Reburn, Lilly and Lincoln Wilson, and Arlo and Remi Kate Reburn.

She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Steve Eswine and Tammy Giuffre (Keith); her nephew, Zach Giuffre; and many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Greg Eswine (Rhonda) and Gary Steward (Gayle).

Carol’s life was centered on faith, family, and simple joys. She found her greatest happiness in time spent with loved ones—sharing meals, celebrating holidays, listening to music, enjoying Westerns and the PBR circuit, or relaxing by the water while sunning, boating, or fishing.

She will be remembered for her deep love of family and the memories she created with those she cherished most.

In accordance with her wishes, a private “Celebration of Life” at The Chicken House in Sellersburg, IN, Saturday, 9/6/2025, from 1 pm to 4 pm.
