Carole Renee James was born on December 7th, 1954 and passed away at her home in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 3rd, 2025.  Her hobbies included cooking, live music, and researching coastal lighthouses.

She is survived by her son, Brian Smith. 

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
