Carolyn Ann Gettler Miracle

Carolyn Ann Gettler Miracle, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, died at her home on September 9, 2025, attended by family after an illness.

Carol was devoted to social justice, animal welfare, environmental protection, and the recovery community. She was an active member of the Buddhist Justice Collective, Louisville Court Watch, and Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ).

Carol is survived by her husband, Calvin Miracle; her brother, Vic Gettler (Linh); her sister, Rosie Gettler (David); her aunt Doris Reynolds; and her cousin Mark Reynolds (Bill). She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Virginia Gettler, and her brother, Charles Gettler.

Carol is best remembered and honored through the bestowal of mercy wherever it is needed.
