Charles Allen Perkins, Sr., 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, transitioned at his home on March 26, 2026.

He was born in Lebanon, Kentucky, on January 26, 1962, to Clarence Perkins, Jr. and Joanna Allen Perkins Claycomb.

Charles attended Marion County High School before his employment at Dismas Charities.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Perkins, Jr. and Joanna Allen Perkins Claycomb; his sister, Janetta Peers; and his son, Charles Allen Perkins, Jr.

He is survived by his son, Chase Perkins, and his two grandsons, Ryder Perkins and Caiden Perkins.

A memorial service will be held at Dismas Charities, 1515 Algonquin Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky 40210, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
