Charles Bilskie

Charles Bilskie, 84, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on December 18, 2024. He is survived by his beloved life partner, Gayle Kittle; his stepdaughter Trina Deforrest (Jake Rutherford); His stepson Pete Deforrest of Wausau, WI; His granddaughter, Indigo Deforrest; and his grandsons, Jakob Rutherford, Kane Deforrest, and Gage Deforrest. He is also survived by his nephews, Donnie (Ladonna) and David Jr., and his niece, Barbara (Donald), all of Vincennes, Indiana, as well as two estranged daughters.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Julia Bilskie; his brother, Donald Bilskie; his sister, Teresa Bilskie; and his stepson, Raymond Clayborne.

Charles loved reading, action and western movies, fishing, and camping. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his granddaughter. A proud veteran, Charles served in the U.S. Army for 17 years and had a lifelong career as a truck driver spanning 58 years.

He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
