Christopher “C.J.” Ness

Christopher “C.J.” Ness, 47, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026. He was born on December 24, 1978, to Leonard Tracy Ness Sr. and Jeanette Amy.

C.J. was a loving son, father, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He enjoyed spending time fishing and was an avid coin collector, finding joy in the simple things and the treasures he discovered along the way.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Amy; and his children, Mackenzie Blackwell, Tyler Ness, and Camille Ness.

C.J. was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Tracy Ness Sr.; his brother, Leonard Tracy Ness Jr.; and his grandparents, Lanie Emma and Everett C. Goldman, and Deloris and Frank Ness.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends who loved him and had the privilege of knowing him.
