Claudette Irene Schlader

Claudette Irene Fryer Schlader born in Centerville, Mississippi, went home to her Heavenly Father on June 24, 2024.

She is survived by her loving husband Don Schlader, two children, Carol Meinhart (Dirk) & John “Jay” Willetts (Corenna), granddaughters, Amber Claudette Willetts and Avalon Davis and grandsons, John Willetts(Jennifer), Dirk Meinhart, Zackary Davis and Dakota Davis, great grandchildren Veronica Barkley, Ashley Rankin, Josh Rankin and Zachary Rankin, her sisters, Marilyn Dias, Linda Magruder, Susan Pawlick(Gary) her brother Richard Ray and her dear cousin Mary Jane Roberts along with so many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

She was an author, a playwright, an accountant along with being a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. We will all remember her love of music, her energy and her endless smile. She had been an active member of Young Hearts Theater for years and enjoyed every musical in which she participated as well as all of her fellow cast members. She has helped countless people over the decades, and many people have shared that she helped save their lives. Her memory will live on forever.

A celebration of life will be June 29th with a Service at 2:00 and a reception to follow at Pewee Valley, Presbyterian Church, 119 Central Ave., Pewee Valley, Louisville Ky 40056.
