Claudia Jean Hughes Selter. Left us peacefully on August 20, 2026, at the age of 82.
A beloved, multi-talented artist and lifelong poet, Claudia, despite many health challenges, continued to create amazing, elaborate vignettes for her collections and passionately brought her intricate handmade creatures to life.
She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron; her parents, Roy and Catherine Hughes; and her siblings, Joe, Tom, Anna Metz, and Paul.
She is survived by David, her husband of 64 years; daughters Christine Van Heuklon and Daina Selter; and grandchildren Isaac and Hannah.
BE PEACEFUL. BE PAINLESS. WE LOVE YOU.
