Cynthia Laswell

Cynthia "Cindy" Laswell, 63, of Leopold, Indiana, passed away on April 5, 2026.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Meier of Leopold, IN; sister, Melissa Terry (John) of Leopold, IN; brother, Frank Laswell (Trish) of Depauw, IN; grandsons, Xavier and Damien Meier; and great-granddaughter, Patience Meier.
Cindy is preceded in death by her life partner, Gary Guthrie; parents, Novy and Ulefia Laswell; brother, Nova Laswell; and sister, Roxanna Fields.
Cindy was a proud Christian. She enjoyed gardening and loved her animals more than anything.
Cremation was chosen, and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.

I am so sorry to learn of Cindy’s passing. I enjoyed her facebook page. I went to school with her brother, Franklin. I knew all her siblings as we attended the same school. Karen, Cindy’s daughter would attend church when she was a little tot. Cindy would have her all dressed up and she looked like a tiny Shirley Temple. I appreciate Cindy and all her family. She will be missed. My sympathy to her family.
