It has been many years since my father died which was the last time I talked to Dani. Dani was my brother’s first wife, he had three. She kept in touch with my parents for years after my brother divorced Dani. She was younger than me so I never expected to find that she died before me. From what I’ve known and read about her she had a good life and I’m glad for that. Rest in Peace Dani.

Peg and Bob Bendorf

In the early 90’s Dani was the thoroughbred horse farm manager across the road from our house in Pewee Valley KY. She allowed our 10 year old daughter to shadow her and learn about care of all the animals at the farm. Dani was kind and patient with our daughter. Our daughter is now a veterinarian and much of what she knows about being kind to animals came from Dani Parrish. Their friendship lasted for decades.
