Daniel is survived by his beloved wife and soul mate Dilia Anglea ( Dee); his cherished daughters, Marina and Rain; and his son, Daniel "Lil Danny." He is also survived by his sisters, Anita, Diana, Mary Kathrine, and Michele. His brothers, Bobby Blue and Matt. Along with many nieces and nephews who adored him. Preceding him in death were his mother, Irene; his brother, Robert "Bob" Garcia; and his grandmother, Mary Marie Perseado.
From a young age, Daniel had a deep passion for music. His grandfather gifted him his first harmonica at the tender age of 9, sparking a lifelong love for blues music. Daniel was an extraordinary harmonica player who enjoyed performing live shows at Stevie Ray's in Louisville, Kentucky. He also had a penchant for model and RC cars, often spending his free time building and racing them.
Daniel's professional life was as vibrant as his personal one. He owned two nightclubs in Los Angeles, California, where he created unforgettable memories and friendships. Later, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where he worked for TARC Transportation as a dedicated bus driver.
Daniel's educational journey led him to earn his GED in California, demonstrating his commitment to personal growth. Despite his many accomplishments in the music industry, Daniel considered his greatest achievement to be the time he spent with his family. He was known for his youthful spirit and boundless energy, which he lovingly shared with his children.
A special bond existed between Daniel and his dog, "Bash," or as he affectionately called him, "Silly Goose" They were inseparable companions, and Bash was his loyal friend.
Daniel's life was also profoundly influenced by his dear friend, Bob Blue, who introduced him to the world of blues and jazz during their early years at a radio station in California. This friendship enriched Daniel's musical journey and broadened his appreciation for the arts.
Above all, Daniel will be remembered for his caring nature, his big heart, and his zest for life. He found immense joy in sitting by the lake with his wife, Dilia, listening to the sounds of the night and cherishing every moment together.
Daniel's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever remember him as a loving husband, devoted father, talented musician, and a man full of life and love. May he rest in peace.
