Daniel Woodrow Hund

Daniel Woodrow Hund,86, was called up to the Lord November 13, 2025. He was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, December 7, 1938 to Joseph H, Hund and Mary L Wilson Hund.

He joins the love of his life, Nancy E Barton Hund and their first daughter Deborah L Hund in everlasting peace and joy.

Additionally, Daniel is survived by his daughter Robin Branham and her husband Bruce, grandchildren Michael and Mason, Hogan, Anna Brown and TJ Kraft great grandchildren, John Hogan, Joey Hogan Damien Hogan Layla Hogan Joseph Brown, William Brown, Aaron Brown, Lucia Brown Phoenix Graff as well as one yet to arrive. Also great grandchildren, Rarewyn, Dahlia and Paisley. He also leaves behind many other family and friends. Daniel was blessed to have known and loved four generations of his descendants. Something few ever get experience.

There was never a more devoted husband, father, and grandfather, than “Pappy”, as all the grandchildren knew him. Daniel was a selfless and giving man who spent his life in service to others his country and his community. He was highly respected and touched many many lives during his time with us having served honorably in the United State Army. He continued his service to his country afterwards by enlisting in the National Guard.

Dan continued to because of help to his fellow brothers and sister of his community in a wide variety of roles, including scout leader, community volunteer group, such as Louisville police, auxiliary, disaster communication and other groups organized through amateur radio world where he’s probably held a call sign KB4CF he will also volunteer at Voice of America in Butler County Ohio, and in Portland Museum.

Daniel was a very hard worker. He believed an honest labor and passed his ethics onto his descendants.

A Private Family Memorial will be held on December 7, 2025 from 3-6pm at Daniels home in Charlestown, Indian.

Daniel passing leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled, but his legacy lives on for all time.
