David Evan Powell, 66, of Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away on May 19, 2026, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 19, 1959, in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late Evan Joseph Powell and Margaret Powell. He is survived by his siblings: Anne Yedowitz, Mary Lou Van Dusen, and Edward Powell. In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held, and the family requests privacy as they honor his memory.

My family took him out to a nice restaurant for his birthday last year. He became family to my daughter and granddaughter and I felt better knowing they had Dave nearby.. He will be missed.
