Deborah Gee

Deborah Gee, 73, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, passed away on October 31, 2024. She was a beloved mother to her daughters Amy Dowdle, Tracy Plummer, Leslie Walker, and her son Adam Goodwin, as well as a caring stepmother to Arida Ray. Deborah’s love extended to her cherished 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her dear brother Mike Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Gee, her parents, Tommie and Marjorie Goodwin, and her brothers, Perry and Tim Goodwin.

Deborah's life was filled with passions—she was an avid fan of UK basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs, and she had a special love for animals, especially her cats. An enthusiastic reader, she found comfort and joy in books. A graduate of Jefferson Community College, Deborah devoted 40 years to nursing, offering care and compassion to many. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
