Deborah Jean Jordon Williams

Deborah Jean Jordon Williams, age 73, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born on September 16, 1951, in Louisville, she remained a lifelong resident.
A proud graduate of Louisville Central High School, "Ms. Debbie" carried a deep sense of dedication throughout her life. She was known for the warmth and care she extended to those around her, holding her family close and offering a nurturing presence to all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Ms. Debbie worked tirelessly caring for and babysitting children, offering warmth, love, and patience to every little one in her care. Later, she brought that same dedication and kindness to her role at Meijer, where she worked for 15+ years, becoming a familiar and beloved face to many in the community.
Ms. Debbie is lovingly remembered by her son, Louis Williams III (Rosalie), and daughter, Shanion Jordon.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Britney Griffin (Keith), Jordon Thurman, Da’Jon Louis Williams, Patrick Green, Carl Lapasaran, Shiara Lapasaran, Cyril Lapasaran, and Cansandra Williams; great-grandchildren: Niah Griffin, Kaiden Griffin, Braxton Griffin, Kason Griffin, Jalain Green, Ari Green, and Corydon Thurman.
Ms. Debbie is also survived by her bestie Peggy Bass (first cousin); her sister, Loanne Jordon; and many other relatives and friends who also cherish her memory.
Ms. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Leon B. Jordon and Ora Lee Jordon, as well as her grandparents, Charles and Anna Mae Carter.
Though she has departed this life, Ms. Debbie's kindness and compassion remain in the hearts of those she touched. May her memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew her.

Im so sorry for your loss. She was a staple on Grand Street. We had the best childhood on that block. I remember her so frequently on the porch. My condolences to you and your family.
Grand Street forever, even though we are no longer on the block, tge block will always be apart of us.
