Debra Jean Cunningham

Debra Jean Cunningham, affectionately known as Debbie, passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2024, at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 12, 1951, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Debbie is survived by her devoted husband, Ken Cunningham, her son Chris Drause (Ellen Koch Drause), her daughter Wendelin Drause, and her cherished twin grandsons, Jeffrey and Ken Guest.

She is also survived by her sister Marilyn Goin (Jim) and her brother Donald McCumber (Jennie). Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Violet McCumber, and her brother Dennis McCumber (Karen).

A devoted member of Southeast Christian Church, Blankenbaker Campus in Louisville, KY, Debbie's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She loved studying scripture, reading, working on crossword puzzles, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

Her celebration of life was held on October 29, 2024, at her church, with a graveside service to follow in Wisconsin, where she will rest with her parents. Debbie’s warmth and faith touched the hearts of many, and she will be deeply missed.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
