Denise Elaine Walden, 64, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1961.

Denise was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose love for her family defined her life. She was survived by her loving mother, Ruth Patton; sisters Donna Kingsbury and Jennifer Burks; brother Roger Patton; children Robert Goodman, Danielle Freeman, William Lewis, TJ Price, and Desiree Zike; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many cherished friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert George Patton; twin sisters Deana and Diana Patton; her daughter Jessica Goodman; and her beloved husband, Timothy Walden.

Denise found joy in life’s simple moments—watching race cars fly by, listening to her favorite country music from the ’70s through the 2000s, and spending warm summer days sharing barbecues and holidays with her family. Evenings often found her on the porch with her dog and cat, listening to wind chimes and watching her dream catcher sway in the breeze. She loved capturing memories through photos, sharing stories and laughter, working crossword puzzles, tending to her rose bushes, and watching sitcoms. Denise and her husband also enjoyed attending woodworking festivals together.

A devoted homemaker, Denise took great pride in making her house a true home. Her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, and watching them grow and succeed. Sweet and graceful as a butterfly, Denise had a heart of gold—everyone she loved felt it deeply, and she will be dearly missed.
