Dennis Ray Strumpfer

Dennis Ray Strumpfer, 75, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on July 5, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Dennis was born on August 19, 1950, in Hackensack, New Jersey, to Lowell and Hildegard Strumpfer, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Strumpfer; his sisters, Diane Hammes and Patty Davis; and his four sons, Brant Strumpfer, Justin Strumpfer, Jordan Strumpfer, and Cory Strumpfer. He also had several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends that will sadly miss him 

Dennis lived a life filled with faith, laughter, and a love for the outdoors. In his younger years, he was an avid runner and golfer. Later in life, he found great joy in riding his motorcycle and embracing the freedom of the open road. A devoted believer and supporter of the Christian faith, Dennis sought to live with conviction and compassion throughout his life.

Those who knew Dennis will remember his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and remarkable ability to make others laugh. Whether sharing a story, telling a joke, or simply enjoying time with family and friends, he had a gift for bringing smiles to those around him. His warmth, faith, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dennis will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified of the arrangements once they have been finalized.

Though he is no longer with us, Dennis's love, laughter, and unwavering faith will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and everyone whose life he touched.
