Donald Gay

Donald Gay, 60, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on August 29, 2025. He was born on August 1, 1965, in Scottsburg to Claude and Ida Gay.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Ronnie) Pace and Karla Sieg; son, David Zollman; his siblings, Ed (Christine) Riley, Arnold (Jean) Riley, Otis Riley, EJ (Laura) Riley, Jeannette (Wayne) Rasnick, Tommy Franklin, and Jimmy Gay. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler Pace, Danielle Pace, Zackary Pace, Megan Pace, Abby Miller, Leann Taylor, and Emily Coats; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Gay; his daughter, Claudia Taylor; his brothers, Wade Riley, Glen Gay, Junior Gay, and Daniel Lee (Lucy) Riley; and his grandson, Steven Coats.

Donald loved his family deeply. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, traveling, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, and caring for his dogs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
