Donna Jean Kroeg
10/25/1932 - 03/30/2024
Donna Jean Kroeg, 91, formerly of Gobles, Michigan, passed away on March 30, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her brother Dale, and her daughter Cheryl.
She leaves behind two children, Jerry (Terri) Wellman and Susan Kroeg (Brad Wood); three grandchildren, Scott (Teresa) Wellman, Jennifer (Steve) West, and Clare Wood; and six great grandchildren, Hailey, Sydnie, Jered, Brayden, Samantha, and Connor.
A lifelong resident of Michigan, she moved to Richmond, Kentucky, in 2018 and joined the community at McCready Manor assisted living to be closer to family. She was an active member of her church, enjoyed reading mysteries, and loved to keep up with what her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were doing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her name to the Madison County (KY) Public Library, whose bookmobile and other outreach programs were so important to her in her last years.
Friends and family will celebrate her life at a memorial service in Michigan at a later date.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your sweet mom! She was one of thee very first people to welcome us to Merson Church many years ago. Her kind and gentle soul was always warm and caring and I always enjoyed her beautiful smile! May her memories fill your hearts with peace! ❤️🙏🏼❤️
