Donna Watling

Donna Watling, devoted grandmother and resident of Salem, IN passed away due to health complications on October 4, 2025 at the age of 77. 

Donna is survived by her brother, Mark Mitchell; her son, Keith Watling (Anita); her grandchildren, Britney (Wesley), Timothy, Eric, Josh (Katy) and Zach (Leigh) Watling; her great grandchildren, Corinna Ducharme and Crue Watling. 

Donna was born on October 6, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts where she graduated high school and attended cosmetology school. She went on to own and open a restaurant near Lake Bomoseen, Vermont as well as a ski lodge with her husband ,Skip, in Rutland, Vermont. She was a woman of faith. In 2004, after her son's passing, she dedicated her life to her grandchildren. Donna loved her New England Patriots and was a huge animal advocate. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, George and Audrey Mitchell; husband, Charles 'Skip' Watling; son, Sean Watling and beloved german shepherd Maxwell.
