Dorothy Hillson

Dorothy Ruth Dimmock Hillson, aged 92, of, Louisville Kentucky, who peacefully passed away on March 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, succumbing to the gentle embrace of natural causes. Dorothy was born on December 16, 1932, and throughout her long and cherished life, she touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters Patricia Cash (William) of Plaistow, NH, Karen Zamiar (George) of Louisville, KY, son Brian Hillson of Louisville, KY, daughter-in-law Sandra Hillson of Tewksbury, MA, brother Richard Arnold of Chelmsford, MA, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who adored her dearly.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Dimmock and Margaret Oliver, her beloved husband, Harold L Hillson of Tewksbury, MA, her son, Robert L Hillson of Tewksbury, MA, and her sister, Judith Laurette, along with brothers Edward, Albert, and Earl Dimmock.

Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her. Though she may have left this world, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
