Frederick “Cowboy” Guy Cole
Born: November 30, 1941- Passed Away: July 18, 2025
Frederick “Fred” Guy Cole, affectionately known as “Cowboy,” passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025.
Fred was a true cowboy at heart who loved horses and country music. He had a deep love for God and his church families at Northside and Cedar Springs churches of Christ. Fred enjoyed setting up for events and greeting people at the door. Fred traveled all over the United States as a truck driver for many years.
He is survived by his sister Sharon Miller, dear friend Debra Pry and stepchildren Doug Swan (Lynn Swan), Tina Williams, and Nathan Swan (Tiffany Swan). Grandchildren Hannah Settles (Zack Settles), Justus Williams, Maya Swan, Lily Swan, and great grandson Casey Settles.
Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife Karen Cole, his mother Eleanor Evans, his father Oral Guy Cole, his brother Billy Fanter, and his stepson-in-law Alan Williams.
Fred will be remembered for his strong faith, his devotion to his family and friends, and his cowboy spirit.

He was more than a friend, he was family. I will miss him dearly.
I love you my friend and will never forget our moments. He lived life on his own terms and loved with all his heart. He will be truly missed .
