Gail Lawson Blevins

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Lawson Blevins, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky on November 3, 2025.

 Gail was born on January 26, 1940 in Lenoir City, TN to James and Minnie Branam Lawson. 

A beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, and neighbor, Gail’s warmth, kindness, and easy laugh touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her three devoted sons — Larry (Kim) Blevins of Louisville, KY, Trent (Rissa) Blevins of Worchester, MA, and Terry (Rhonda) Blevins of Palm Harbor, FL, as well as their families — who will forever cherish her love, guidance, and unwavering support.

Gail had a passion for life’s simple joys. She found happiness in cooking homemade meals, tending her garden, and spending time with family and friends. Her kitchen was a gathering place filled with laughter, good food, and the comforting sense of home she so effortlessly created.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to local food pantries or community kitchens in Gail’s memory. Through such acts of giving, her compassion and care for others will continue to nourish those in need.

Gail’s love and light will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm at the Blairwood Apartments Community Gathering Hall (9206 Linn Station Rd., Louisville, KY 40222) on November 22, 2025 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:30 pm
