Gloria was a woman of many passions. She loved knitting, crocheting, fishing, and shrimping with Richard in the Indian River. Above all, she cherished her family, especially during the holidays. Gloria had a heart full of laughter and always believed a smile could make others wonder what she was thinking. She was also known for playing cards and her joyful whistle. Gloria was self-employed for many years alongside Richard, operating businesses that spanned general stores, seafood restaurants, catering, video stores, a mobile home park, and a daycare where she lovingly cared for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is remembered for her caring spirit, laughter, and the love she so freely gave to those around her. Gloria's legacy lives on in her family, who will forever cherish her memory.

My great-grandmother was nothing less than extraordinary. She was the light of any room she walked into. No matter what every time I got to visit her, she always made my day so much brighter. I even had the privilege of having her as my daycare teacher. Rest in paradise Grammy. You sure are missed and will continue to be missed. Love you always.

I met Gloria for the first time about 26 years ago during one of my winter stays in Florida at Dean and Kim’s home. It was Christmas Day. I remember her as a loving and caring mom and grandmother. I am sure her family will miss her dearly.
