Grace Sung, age 95, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on March 3, 1930, in Tokyo, Japan. Grace lived a vibrant and fulfilling life marked by a passion for her hobbies and the deep bonds she formed with her family and pets.

Grace found joy in her involvement with Moms on Ice, showcasing her love for ice skating well into her later years. She was also an active member of the Greater Louisville Koi & Goldfish Society, where she shared her enthusiasm for aquatic life. Bowling nights were a regular delight for her, as she enjoyed both the sport and the companionship of her team.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Roy Sung; their cherished cat, Ninja; her daughter, Nina Jonas, and son-in-law, Sam Zwenger; and her son, Gary Billion, and daughter-in-law, Shannon Billion. Grace was a proud grandmother to Clayton, Haley, Spencer, Genesis, Sierra, Jonathan, and Gracie. Her extended family in Japan also holds fond memories of her warmth and kindness.

Grace’s life will be honored through a private cremation service. In recognition of her compassionate spirit, the family suggests that contributions be made to Hosparus Health Louisville Metro in lieu of flowers, to continue her legacy of caring for others.
