He is survived by his sister, Debora A. Shive, and his brother, Charles A. Jennings. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles P. Jennings; his mother, Cora O. Jennings; and his sister, Cynthia L. Morrison.

Gregory had a deep love for music and was an avid guitarist, finding joy and expression through his love of playing the guitar.
