Jack Dennis

July 2, 1938 –  September 6, 2025

Jack Dennis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born on July 2, 1938, to the late Alton Burke Dennis and Francis Faye Dennis (Ingles).

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara Dennis (Neiheisel). He leaves behind his children, Lisa Anne Buchanan and Lesley Dennis (Sharon); his brother, Larry Dennis; and his sisters, Gail Oetting and Judith Anne Craig. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Mark Chetwood (Marcia) and Patty Biehl (Doug); as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will cherish his memory.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Jack served his country with honor and integrity. He went on to enjoy a long career in the shoe industry, where he built lasting relationships and was admired for his dedication and hard work.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 2:00–6:00 p.m., with a service at 3:00 p.m., at the Riviera Condo Clubhouse, Riviera Drive, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025.

Jack will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his service to his country, and the kindness he shared with all who knew him.
