James Matthew Morrow

James Matthew Morrow, 59, passed away on January 3, 2025.
He is survived by his son, Alex M. Morrow (Rosalind Donald-Morrow); nieces, Tabbatha Jackson and Maegun Jackson; and nephew, Kenneth Jackson.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James Morrow and Martha L. Morrow; and brothers, Kenneth D. Morrow and Mark Wayne Barnhart.
James had a deep passion for IU basketball and had played the sport throughout his life. He loved watching the latest movies with family and friends. Additionally, James was an active member of Utica’s Clark County Casting and Conservation Club. He was also a proud graduate of Jeffersonville High School.
Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, IN, has been entrusted with the arrangements.

I remember when I met Matt on his 18th Birthday, a day that I’ll never forget.
He was one great guy and will be missed, say Hi to Richie for me.

RIP Matt. I have know you since you were a child. You and Ken grew up playing with my kids. You, your dad Jimmy, and Larry were the biggest IU fans in Utica. Now you are reunited with them to cheer on the Hoosiers. You will be missed.
