James “Mike” Crick
06/30/1956 - 12/23/2025
James “Mike” Crick, age 69, went home on December 23, 2025, after a seven-month battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Denese; his son, Kel; his sisters, Cheryl Crick Lutz and Cynthia Crick; and his brother, Bill Crick. Special mention goes to his sister-in-law, Debbie Dillander, and her entire family.
Mike was preceded in death by too many loved ones to name—perhaps they were waiting for him on the other side.
He was loved by many people. Mike’s virtues included an immense love for his family, a quick-witted sense of humor, a strong sense of right and wrong, and an intense love for work and being helpful. He was an encyclopedia of all things related to alarm systems and was always eager to learn more.
Mike enjoyed golfing, fishing, and working. There was nothing he could not do—including giving me a son and more than 50 beautiful years to grow and share together.
Thank you for that, my love.
There will be no service. After cremation, his ashes will be taken to Pebble Beach, which was his wish.

I met Mike in 2008 when I started working at Honeywell. He quickly became a mentor and friend. The knowledge and skills he shared with me have allowed me to excel in my chosen career. His humor and kindness helped me excel in life. Thank you Mike. Rest in Peace my friend.
