Jeffrey Scott Price

9/1/1961-11/12/2024

Jeffrey Scott Price, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 12, 2024, after a lengthy battle with Leukemia.  Born September 1, 1961, in Lawton, OK at Ft. Sill Army hospital where his father Don was stationed. After his father’s tour of duty, the family returned to their home in Southern Illinois where Jeff attended Elementary, Junior High and High School in Grayville. He also attended Wabash Valley College, receiving his associate’s degree. After graduating, he went on to work as a project manager, building power plants in Alabama, Tennessee, before taking up residence in New Albany, Indiana.

During his early years, Jeff was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved to play golf with his father, uncles and his many close friends. He always looked forward to, and had many cherished memories of, the large extended family gatherings for the holidays. Jeff is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, his father Don, mother Shirley, and infant brother Douglas. He is survived by his brother Bradley Kent Price, of Tampa FL and his brother Christopher Neal Price, of Yankeetown, IN.

At this time, there will be no service. However, a Celebration of Life is being planned for Labor Day, September 1, 2025, on what would have been Jeff’s 64th birthday.
