Jeremy Robert Duranceau, age 45, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, passed away on June 21, 2026. Jeremy was born on July 30,1980, in Ottawa, Illinois and spent most of his life in Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Tennessee. He was the beloved son of Bob and Phyllis Duranceau. He was a devoted husband to Sarah Ezell Duranceau and a loving father to Alayna, Clara, Brynlee, and Daniel, who were the joys of his life.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Bob and Phyllis Duranceau; his wife, Sarah; his children,
Alayna, Clara, Brynlee, and Daniel; his sister, Jennifer Dempsey (Jeremy) of Mount Washington; his brother, Jonathon Duranceau (Jessica) of Clarksville, TN; his parents-in-law, Steve and Betty Ezell of Auburn, KY; his brothers- and sister-in-law, Ashe and Rachel Wetton of Rockfield and Benjamin Fox-Ezell of Auburn; eleven nieces and nephews and a great niece, all of whom he dearly loved and proudly claimed as the best nieces and nephews anyone could ask for. He also leaves behind many extended family members, church family, and treasured friends whose lives were forever impacted by his love and faithfulness.

Jeremy served as pastor of Farmdale Church of the Nazarene in Louisville, Kentucky. His
calling to ministry was evident in the way he loved people, preached the Gospel, and lived out his faith each day. He had a deep love for Jesus Christ and dedicated his life to serving others, offering encouragement, compassion, and hope wherever he went. Jeremy loved his family. He cherished every moment spent with Sarah and their children.

Whether enjoying the outdoors, sharing laughter with friends and family, or helping someone in need, Jeremy approached life with joy, generosity, and genuine care for others. Above all else, Jeremy loved with his whole heart. Love was his final message to those surrounding him. Jeremy had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome, valued, and loved. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and unwavering faith. His presence made people better, and his influence will continue to be felt in the countless lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 PM CST on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Community of Hope, First Church of the Nazarene, Clarksville, Tennessee. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. untilthe time of the service. An intimate church service with his Farmdale Church family will be heldon June 28th.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Farmdale Church of the Nazarene in Louisville or Community of Hope, First Nazarene in Clarksville, TN.

A beautiful soul, who showed many in our community how to love like Jesus and how to walk in holiness. His impact cannot be overstated. Sorry for us, but happy for him.

There is a part of our lives that Jeremy touched thru his presence, wisdom, love and devotion that will be forever missed . We were able to watch him and his family as they basically grew up in the Community of Hope in Clarksville. We are the better for it.
