Jerry Voyles

Jerry Voyles, 63, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on December 31, 2024. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Jerry leaves behind his beloved wife of 31 years, Shawna Voyles; daughter, Cayla Ashley (Andrew); brother, Terry Voyles (Debbie); grandson, Riley Ashley; grandson, Brad Engleman; and stepson, B.J. Engleman. He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Carver; sister, Sharon K. Voyles; and his parents, James and Ruby Voyles.

Jerry was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and teaching his family how to live off the land. Deer hunting, especially, was a cherished holiday tradition. Alongside his wife Shawna, Jerry co-owned and operated a welding works business, where he created a lasting legacy through his metal sculptures and folk art, often attending local craft shows to share his creations.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
