John Daniel Logan

5/14/1973-10/3/2024

John Daniel Logan of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at home on October 3, 2024 after a 3 1/2 year courageous battle with Glioblastoma. John was born on May 14, 1973 to Daniel and Barbara (Carr) Logan. He married Keely Goetz-Logan on October 3, 2015.

John had a great sense of humor and enjoyed camping, traveling, playing guitar, and tinkering with his truck. He was always ready to lend a hand to help out family and friends.

He spent his working life in the construction industry and was a very gifted woodworker. But his most gratifying achievement was raising his daughters, Hope and Emma Logan, whom he was very proud of.

John is survived by his wife Keely Goetz-Logan, his mother Barbara Logan, daughters Hope Logan & Emma Logan, sister Anne Johnson, brother Matt Logan, bonus daughters Chelsea Zambon-Logan and Mia Clegg, nieces Rachel and Brooke Johnson, and in-laws Dean And Gail Goetz.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel John Logan.

Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements. Please visit www.magnoliacremations.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date.

Rest in Peace John, you were a Good Man! Love you, Uncle Wally

Aunt Pat

John had a wonderful sense of humor that equaled his Uncle’s Larry’s, which was, with honor, designated as often “inappropriate.” He was a master at the grill and his filets were legendary. I remember his kindness, serving as the grill master for a gathering at my house, standing in the hot sun on my patio for my benefit. I remember bursting into tears when he called me into the bathroom her was remodeling for me to show me the beautiful vanity top and mirrors that he had just placed. I remember that all estimates for jobs large and small started, jokingly, at $2,000. We will never stop talking about our many fond memories of him. Love you, John. ❤️
