John Fredrick Earls

John Fredrick Earls, 72, passed away on December 04, 2025. He was born on July 27, 1953, to John Joseph and Florence Evelyn (Robinson) Earls.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Wayne (Lori) and Brady (Rikki) Earls. Fred was a proud grandfather to Joseph’s children—Brittney Earls, Jessica Miller, and Charlie Earls—and a loving great-grandfather to Steven, Gracie, Addison, Madison, Dominick, Mia, and Leah. He was also blessed with grandchildren through Brady: Brandon, Bailey, Clayton, Kennedy, and Cadence, along with great-grandchildren Miles, Bennie, Millie, Malcolm, and Rosalie.

Fred is further survived by his siblings: Sharon Hansel (Mike), Bill Earls (Nelda), Mike Earls (LuAnn), Reba, Debbie Simpson, Jill Darbro, Beverly Driver, Jo Lee, Larry Darbro, and Bobby Darbro.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Norma Earls; and his siblings Kenny Darbro, Gary Darbro, and Carol Brown.

Fred loved his dogs, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and treasured every moment spent with his family—especially his grandchildren. He graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 1972 and continued his education at the Vocational School in Versailles. Fred later enlisted in the U.S. Army, but due to lifelong vision difficulties, he received a medical discharge.
