John Mark Young

2/28/1968 - 10/26/2025

John Mark Young, 57, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on October 26, 2025. 

He left behind two daughters, Jodi (Eric "Bear") Mitchell and Katie Young; two granddaughters, Maci Young-Conine and Dazi Glassburn.

John was an amazingly great father and grandpa, and a good friend to many. He was loving, caring, and always knew how to make you smile or laugh when you were having a bad day. He was full of sarcasm to the point you couldn’t tell if he was serious or just joking. He loved to kayak, ride four-wheelers, hang out with family and friends, work on vehicles, and have bonfires, but most importantly, he loved his daughters, son-in-law, and granddaughters. He loved Ozzy Osbourne! So he finally rode that crazy train singing Mama, I’m coming home. 

R.I.P. to a great man that Jodi and Katie had the pleasure of calling Dad. He will always be loved and deeply missed. 

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
