Joy Lynne Johnson

December 16, 1959 – October 25, 2026

Joy Lynne Johnson, 66, passed away on October 25, 2026. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for the love she shared and the special place she held in the lives of those around her.

Joy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She is survived by her husband, Jason Johnson; her children, Michael Johnson, Justin Johnson and his wife, Marcia Johnson, Emily Kanto and her husband, Rian Kanto, and Bethany Miller and her husband, Otis Miller; her mother, Geri Gregg; her sisters, Melanie Adcock and Jennifer Steiner; and her brothers, Kris Gregg and Scott Gregg.

Joy’s grandchildren were a special joy in her life. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Addison Miller, Noah Miller, Logan Miller, Ava Miller, Benjamin Kanto, Eliana Kanto, and Rylie Kanto. She treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and those moments will remain cherished memories for the people who loved her.

Joy was a graduate of Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas. She attended the Driven Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and generously volunteered her time at Warm Blessing in Elizabethtown. Her faith, compassion, and willingness to give her time to others were meaningful parts of her life.

Joy was preceded in death by her father, Jack Gregg, and her parents-in-law, Dale Johnson and Margaret Johnson.

Joy’s love for her family and the time she spent with them were among the most meaningful parts of her life. She leaves behind a family who will hold her memory close and cherish the moments they shared. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
