Julie Renee (Goodin) Valentin

Julie Renee (Goodin) Valentin, 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on April 1st, 2025. She was born on September 27, 1972, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Roger Ellis Goodin and Jacqueline Iris (Baker) Goodin.
Julie is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Herman Steilbergh; her children, Kristina Paele, Dakota Snook, Jonathon Green, and Jessica Valentin; and her eight cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Sherry Levasseur, Dianna Gaeta, Mike Moore, Roger Goodin Jr., Laura Arnold, Dewonda Mills, and Leah Lowery; as well as her step-mother, Donna Goodin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Tina Louis Goodin; and her beloved grandson, Odin Paele.
Julie held a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She had a passion for helping others and a deep love for her grandchildren. She found joy in gardening, creating art, scrapbooking, singing, music, and reading her bible. Julie will be remembered for her kind heart, her creativity, and the joy she brought to everyone.
Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.

When Julie was little, she was obsessed with the Dukes Of Hazzard. For her 6th birthday, I had a tee shirt made for her with Bo and :Luke Duke’s names on it. She loved that tee shirt and I can still close my eyes and see her at her birthday party, holding it up in front of her with a huge smile on her face. She was the tiny talk of the neighborhood and never met a stranger.
