Karen Ann Childress

Karen Ann Childress, 64, passed away on September 4, 2026. She was born on November 24, 1961.

Karen worked as a warranty administrator throughout her career. She was a loving partner, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished the time she spent with her family.

Karen is survived by her partner and wife of 21 years, Kimberly Stidham; her daughter, Jamie Bryant; and her son, Justin Childress. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryleigh Childress, Kayden Bryant, Liam Bryant, Jameson Bryant, Lukas Bryant, and Alex Elliot, all residing in Kentucky.

She is also survived by her siblings, Gail Burleson, Amy White, Edward Wren, and Patrick Wren of Texas, and William Wren of Kentucky.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Beth Meads Wren; her father, Jackson Wren; her infant twins; and her ex-husband, Terry Childress.

Karen will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the many memories she shared with those closest to her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
