Karen Patricia King passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 59. She was born on October 3, 1966, to Joseph McCracken and Louise Stillwell.

Karen was a devoted mother to her two children, Brandon and Katie King, who were the center of her life. In her earlier years, she dedicated herself to raising her family, guided by her faith and a deep love for her children. She spent many years as a stay-at-home mother, providing care, stability, and support during their formative years, and later worked various small jobs as she was able.

Karen earned an associate degree and had a lifelong love of reading and television. She especially enjoyed the works of Stephen King and was drawn to suspense, crime, and mystery stories, whether in books or on screen. These interests brought her comfort and enjoyment throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, Brandon and Katie King; and her siblings, Maureen Crawford, Barbara Jozwiak, Mary Kozlowski, William McCracken, Theresa Echo, and Anna Kirkman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph McCracken and Louise Stillwell; and her siblings, Cyril McCracken, Louise McCracken, John McCracken, Christine McCracken, and Joe McCracken.

Karen’s life was not without hardship, and she faced significant challenges in her later years. Despite these struggles, the love she had for her children and the importance of her faith remained constant. She will be remembered for her role as a mother, her quiet strength, and the love that endured through even the most difficult times.
