Kathy Diane Finney, 67, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Born December 11, 1956, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Evelyn (Meadows) Hutton and the granddaughter of Homer “Jim” and Lula (Stultz) Meadows. She went on to marry Perry Mark Finney on January 26, 1985, in Bedford, IN. She spent many years working at Seymour Manufacturing and Arvins of Columbus and her entire life taking care of her home and family. She had an avid love for cooking, baking, family dinners, and get-togethers. She spent her free time watching the Food Network, and Hallmark Movies, collecting cookbook recipes, and playing games on her phone and computer.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Anita Darlene (Hutton) Maggard and Judith Ann (Hutton) Neely; and her husband, Perry Mark Finney. Survivors include daughters, Angela Michelle Finney of Jeffersonville, IN; Amanda Lynn (Finney) Henderson of Columbus, IN; goddaughter, Regena Marie Stewart of Jeffersonville, IN; grandsons, Bradly Christopher Henderson and Dylan Jacob Henderson, both of Columbus, IN; granddaughters, Madalynn Rhiannon Paige Finney and Isabella Morganna Marie Stewart, both of Jeffersonville, IN; and great-grandsons, Braxton Scott Henderson and Zayden Michael Henderson both of Columbus, IN.

A “Celebration of Life Memorial” will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Shields Park Shelter House in Seymour, IN at 2 pm. All family, friends, and anyone who was touched by Kathy in their life are welcome to come enjoy a meal and share loving memories.

She will be laid to rest at a later time and date at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford, IN, with her husband.
