Kenneth Burton

Kenneth Burton, 44, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on September 4, 2024. He is survived by his parents, Kenneth Payne (Laura) and Margaret Burton (Roy); his siblings, Thomas Payne, Chris Lee (Kimberly), Chris Miller (Shona), Samantha Coffman-Payne, Amanda Burton, Lil’ Roy Ezell (Amanda), and Leanna Payne (Peyton); as well as his long-time companion, Tammy Bailey, and her children, Katie Bailey (Aaron), Taylor Bailey (George), and Roger Bailey.

Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Valeda Payne, and Darlene Baer.

A talented mechanic, Kenny worked at Bilbrey Automotive and Transmissions, where he found both joy and purpose in his craft. He will be remembered as a loving brother, a devoted companion, and someone who cherished his four-legged fur babies.

Life is full of wide and narrow roads, and each path we choose leads us onward. At the age of 16, Kenny accepted Christ as his Savior. Though his journey was marked by challenges, his family takes comfort in the promise that “neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God”
