Kevin Lee Ireland Sr.

Kevin Lee Ireland Sr., 62, of Louisville/Fairdale, Kentucky, was born July 24, 1964, and passed away August 7, 2026.

Kevin attended Fairdale High School and began his working life in the roofing industry alongside his uncle. He later found a career he truly enjoyed as an exterminator with Bright Pest Control, where he spent many years. Most recently, Kevin worked in maintenance at South Park Country Club.

Kevin had a lifelong passion for music and enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, and simply being surrounded by the people he loved. He treasured his time with family and friends and was known for the many conversations, stories, and friendships he shared throughout his life. He had a way of making connections with those around him and deeply valued the relationships he built over the years. Above all, Kevin loved his children and family and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them.

Kevin was formerly a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, now Teresa of Calcutta Church.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Lee Ireland Jr.; daughters, Maegan Ashli Isabel Ireland and Morgan Danielle Ireland; and granddaughter, Dakota Rose Ireland.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ruth Ireland; father, William “Billy” Henry Ireland; sister, Kelley Evans; and grandparents, Jane and John Ballman.

Kevin will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for music, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the friendships he made along the way. There will never be another quite like him. His presence, conversations, laughter, and genuine love for those around him will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
