Kevin Rhea Morrison, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on July 20, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1962.

Kevin is survived by his daughters, Kirsten Thompson (Chris), Shelby Morrison, and Katelyn Brown (Dillon); his brother, Troy Morrison (Debbie); his sisters, Jennifer Cole, Lindsey Filback (Jason), and Kimberly Pharris; his beloved grandchildren, Destiny, Christopher, Bristyl, Arayah, JR, Zeke, and Lucas; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Morrison; his mother, Phyllis Morrison; his sisters, Betty Jo and Desirae; and his brothers, Peewee and Wayne.

Kevin was the kind of man who never sat still for long. Whether he was at Sportsdrome Speedway watching drag races, figure-8 races, and demolition derbies, working on a car, playing a game of pool, or enjoying a cold beer with friends, he found joy in life's simple pleasures and in the people who shared them with him.

Above all else, Kevin loved his family. He was the type of person who would stop by unexpectedly just to check on someone, offer a helping hand, or make sure everything was alright. No matter what he had going on in his own life, he always found time for the people he loved.

His grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He took great pride in spoiling them whenever he could and never missed an opportunity to ask about them. His love for them was evident in every conversation, every visit, and every moment they shared together.

Kevin believed in hard work and staying busy. If something needed to be repaired, he was often the first person willing to lend a hand. His generosity, dependability, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He also appreciated life's simple comforts—a slice of pizza from Bearno's, time spent with family and friends, a day at the races, and the comfort of familiar faces. Those ordinary moments became extraordinary memories for the people who loved him.

Although his family mourns the loss of his presence, they find comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind. His laughter, his stories, his caring heart, and the love he shared so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Kevin will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
